Orcon Multibond is a premium double-sided solid acrylic adhesive strip designed to create an instant, permanent, and flexible airtight seal between membranes and building substrates.

This high-performance tape bonds securely to all Pro Clima vapour control and breathable membranes, as well as a wide variety of smooth and rough surfaces on site.

It excels in vertical, overhead, and hard-to-reach applications, offering a solvent-free, highly flexible, and frost-resistant solution—ideal for even the most challenging sealing projects.

Application

Orcon Multibond is suitable for both interior and exterior applications with all Pro Clima vapour control and breathable membranes, as well as membranes made from PE, PA, PP, PET, and aluminium.

It offers a durable bond to materials such as steel, masonry (stone, brick, block), damp plaster or render, concrete, timber (plain, rough, or painted), wood-based panels, hard plastics, and metal. For optimal results on rough or porous surfaces, apply Tescon Sprimer before installation.

Always test adhesion on unstable or dusty surfaces to ensure a secure bond.

Functionality

Orcon Multibond is a solid acrylic, double-sided tape and a practical alternative to Orcon F. It creates airtight, windproof seals between membranes and substrates, delivering superior adhesion on most building surfaces. Unlike liquid sealants, Orcon Multibond streamlines installation in vertical, overhead, or awkward spaces—minimising the risk of application errors and reducing air leaks in hard-to-reach areas.

Supplied as a 10-metre, 3 mm-thick strip, Orcon Multibond offers extensive coverage for sealing both small- and large-scale projects.

With no carrier film or backing, simply remove the release film to access an easy-to-use double-sided adhesive strip on a practical roll.

Highly flexible, Orcon Multibond adapts to rough, uneven, or textured surfaces, ensuring a reliable and consistent seal for every application.

After placing on the substrate, press the membrane onto the 3mm adhesive strip to achieve a secure, airtight connection.

Orcon Multibond is solvent-free and certified with the highest Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) rating under ISO 16001, contributing to a healthier indoor environment.

Benefit from instant sealing with no curing time—ideal for rapid fixes during blower door tests when immediate air leak sealing and re-testing are required.

System Warranty

Pro Clima provides a limited system warranty for its airtightness products, backed by public liability insurance. When installed with approved thermal insulation and other Pro Clima system solutions, a 10-year warranty applies. If used with products from other manufacturers, a 6-year warranty is available.
