TRUEWOOL® is pioneering as the first wool-based insulation crafted exclusively from British sheep. The wool originates from Welsh Mountain sheep that graze in Wales, ensuring full traceability and origin integrity. The fleece, sourced through the Welsh Wool traceability system managed by British Wool (previously known as the British Wool Marketing Board), is meticulously processed—washed and treated with borax, a natural insect deterrent—and then needle felted into 10-meter segments of 50mm thick insulation. All manufacturing steps are conducted in the UK. Layer the wool multiple times between floor joists to enhance insulation thickness.

Unwrapping TRUEWOOL® may initially emit a mild "sheepy" scent, which dissipates after airing.

Their hydrophobic exterior repels wetness, while the interior's hygroscopic nature allows absorption of moisture vapours during humid conditions and release as heat when dry. This balance helps maintain a healthy indoor environment, reduces energy consumption since less energy is needed to heat damp air, and supports old and new structures with excellent breathability.
