Pro Clima Solitex Plus is an innovative, fully windproof yet breathable (vapour permeable) roofing membrane designed for pitched rooftops, external cladding for timber-framed walls, and windtight barriers for insulated suspended timber floors. Its four-layer construction makes it highly suitable for construction sites with heavy foot traffic. The material offers UV resistance and weatherproofing for up to three months and features exceptional nail tear strength.
Application Uses:
- Pitched Roofs: Ideal as an underlayment for roofs with an incline exceeding 15°.
- Timber Frame Walls: Acts as a breathable barrier on the outer surface of timber-framed structures.
- Suspended Timber Floors: Provides windproofing beneath insulated suspended flooring.
- Blown-In Insulation Projects: Its reinforced membrane with high nail tear and pull-out resistance makes it compatible.
Note: For roofs with pitches gentler than 15°, consult the technical team or consider using Solitex Weldano for pitches below 10°.
Product Features
The three-layer system features a polypropylene fleece backing, a sturdy reinforcement mesh, a solid, nonporous TEEE membrane at its core, and a blue polypropylene felt top layer. Its thoughtful design results in lower moisture vapor resistance compared to traditional underlays, helping to keep interiors dry and reduce condensation concerns.
The wind-tight, monolithic membrane remains unaffected by preservatives, resins, or oils that can damage microporous membranes, thanks to its lack of microscopic holes, which helps it stay waterproof even in tough conditions.
It can withstand UV exposure and high radiant heat for three months without losing its effectiveness, making it an excellent choice for protecting unfinished structures from the elements during construction.

System Warranty
Pro Clima offers a limited warranty supported by public liability insurance on all airtightness and sealing solutions for roofs and walls. When installed with approved insulation and other Pro Clima products, a 10-year warranty is available; combining with other manufacturers’ components provides a 6-year coverage.
