Key Features:
- Loft Legs are 175mm in height, providing ample space for insulation.
- We recommend using 4.0 x 30mm screws (approximately 70-100 screws per box of Loft Legs) for installation. This includes 4 screws per leg base and an additional 2-4 to secure the board to the leg.
- No pre-drilling holes are required, simplifying the installation process.
- Chipboard can be directly applied to the top of the leg, ensuring a seamless and sturdy loft floor.
- While Loft Legs can support substantial weights, up to 500kg, we recommend not exceeding 50kg per m² due to the load-bearing characteristics of a loft.
Coverage: The coverage rates provided are based on using 2400mm x 600mm chipboard and are for illustrative purposes only. The maximum distance between two adjoining Loft Legs should be no more than 600mm apart
- Joists spacing 400mm: Approximately 6-8 Loft Legs per m²
- Joists spacing 600mm: Approximately 4-6 Loft Legs per m²
